I need to remember my Basic Facts because they are the
knowledge I need to help me with strategies to solve Maths
problems.

On Friday I got 46/60



Today I got 50/60


I did better because I was not talking but looking at what I was doing.

My Moment in time writing

Today Our class has been doing some moment in time writing about two of the boys on the zip line riding to school.This was in Indonesia.

We had to pretend we were one of the boys who were riding on the zip line. I chose to be the boy in at the back of the boy in the front. 

I did not get anyone to check my writing.

Day 2 Winter Learning Journey

Day 2-Activity 1,2 and three

My Library card-I had three choices for which Library card I wanted. I chose this card because It kind of looked like the man in the book that I was reading.

My favourite Characters name is Captain Cold.
I like Captain Cold because he is really serious and he never takes things funny only when he says it!!!

One thing me and Captain Cold have in Common is that he is always so serious just like me.
Another thing that we have in Common is we are Winter people-We were born in Winter time.

I Drew Captain Cold with blue and white clothes because he always wore that. I think that he wears blue because how he was born in winter time and is use to the coldness. 

Activity 2: Writing to Excite!!!

How is the swing Swinging?

On a nice Sunny and breezy evening a family came to a park to play. They saw no one at the park so the youngest sister of the family went to the swing.

She felt bored so she decided to push the swing with no one on it. Her family was going after a huge evening of playing. The little girl rushed back to her family. 

And as they went the swing was swinging by itself, and as the day went by the swing was still swinging lonely through the night.

Silent Sensible Reading

Today I read from page 45-94                                                                I am reading book six of Amulet

So this is what happened...

There is this boy and his name is Max and there is this girl and her name is Emily.
Emily and Max are not friends but enemies so they wanted to have a fight.

While Emily and Max were fighting they both saw a necklace they picked it up then put it on. When they found it they went home but never told a soul about what they found. Then the next day Max and Emily were talking about it and all of a sudden they heard a voice coming from the necklace The Voice said"YOU HAVE BEEN CHOSEN" Do not freak out.

After a while they both started talking about it and they even saw it once. Every time they went to sleep they had a dream about the voice coming from the necklace. Then they would wake up and see nothing around them.

That is what I have read today.

Today I got 50/60

I did way better than before because I was focused and I was happy.

My Times Tables Knowledge

I am testing how quickly I can remember my Times Tables.

I need to remember my Times Tables because they are the
knowledge I need to help me with strategies to solve Maths
problems.

Last Monday I got 30/38 for my Times tables.

This Monday I got 31/38 for my Time tables.

This is my 1,2,5 & 10 times tables.

Last Monday I got 46/60

This Monday I got 39/60

I did not do better because I was talking , moving around and I was not concentrating on my own work.

Typing Speed Test

Learning Goal and Success Criteria:

I am practicing my typing so I can be quicker and more
accurate.

This will help me finish my work faster.

Last Monday I got 31(WPM)

This Monday I got 37(WPM)

I had a better result than last Monday. I Improved that I can be more quicker and more accurate.
