My Times Tables Knowledge

Learning Goal:

I am testing how quickly I can remember my Basic Facts.

I need to remember my Basic Facts

because they are the knowledge

I need to help me with strategies to solve Maths problems.

On Monday I was mucking around and so I didn't finish.

Today I made changes and did my work.

My results were 30/38

This is my 1,2,5 & 10 times tables.

I think I can have a better result than this next  week on Monday.

Basic facts/Prototec

Learning Goal:

I am testing how quickly I can remember my Basic Facts.

I need to remember my Basic Facts because they are the
knowledge I need to help me with strategies to solve Maths

On Monday I got 47/60

Today I got 46/60

I didn't do better because I was not thinking about what I was answering.

Typing Speed Test

Learning Goal and Success Criteria:

I am practicing my typing so I can be quicker and more
accurate.

This will help me finish my work faster.

On Monday I got 35(WPM)

Today I got 42(WPM)

I did better because I was into my typing and I wasn't focussing on other people but myself.

Silent Sensible Reading

My book is called Diary of a Wimpy Kid RODRICK RULES. I read from page 1-23

So this is what happend...
There are these boys named Rodrick,Manny and Greg. They are brothers, Rodrick is older than Greg and Greg is older than Manny. They ALWAYS Fight,Argue and when I mean Argue its physically not what you think but it's really bad.

Anyways Greg and Rodrick like to game and they really like to watch TV/Television.

Sudoku puzzles

Today the class and I had to solve some sudoku puzzles. The fun thing about Sudoku is that we don't have to add or subtract.But you do have to be logical. 


I had to retry 2 times and then I got the problem write.

Handwriting

Learning Goal:
We are practicing writing neatly by hand
We are learning to copy accurately by checking and rechecking our work.





Yesterday the Class and I had to practise Handwriting.
This is my handwriting and at the top is what I had to copy.
With my handwriting I need to practise writing a little bit neater.
I had no mistakes.
