My poem is about playing cricket at school. Before I started to write there were optional choices and I chose acrostic poem. Why I chose acrostic poem is because that is my favourite type of poem.
Catching the ball in the air.
Running as fast as I could.
Impacting the ball with the bat.
Crouching down to get the ball.
Knowing how to hit the ball.
Excellent throwing to the other team.
Turning and tossing to see where the ball is going.
Lily, I love your explanation about why you chose an acrostic poem. You have used good movement words which paints a picture of what cricket looks like.
